Disorderly Conduct for Canadian Citizen Filed

Attorney Jeff Hamm of Zerillo Law, LLC was able to get a filing for a Canadian client of ours today in York County.  Our Client, who is from Quebec, hired us to handle a case out of Old Orchard Beach where he was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.  Attorney Hamm was able to negotiate a filing.  A filing is really a delayed dismissal, meaning that if our Client does not have any new criminal conduct within a year, the case is automatically dismissed.  This is a fantastic deal for our Client. If you are from Canada or live anywhere in the world outside of the State of Maine, and have a legal issue in Maine, please call us and we'll be happy to help you.  --Tim

Felony Theft of $100,000 No Complainted

Our Client came to me charged with a theft of $100,000 in the context of a bad divorce.  Also charged was embezzlement from a local small business.  I am pleased to say that through intensive investigation and planning, we were able to persuade the police and the District Attorney that this was not a criminal matter, but should be handled in civil court.  The District Attorney today decided to no complaint the case.  If charged, this would have been a significant felony that would have changed our Client's life.  -Tim
