Attorney's Mike Whipple and Dave Weyrens Hit It Out of the Park in Court Yesterday

Hallett, Zerillo & Whipple attorneys Mike Whipple and Dave Weyrens had a great day in Court yesterday on behalf of two clients.

In the first case the client was charged with OUI and the police obtained a .18 blood alcohol test result. Upon careful review Attorney Whipple determined that there were problems with the manner in which the test was administered to the client. As a result, he obtained a deferred disposition arrangement where if the client does not have any new criminal charges in the next year, the OUI charge will be dismissed. It pays to have an experienced OUI lawyer if you are ever charged.

The second case involved a domestic dispute in which our client was charged with Domestic Violence Assault and Criminal Mischief following an argument with her boyfriend, whom she was trying to leave. Attorney David Weyrens conducted a thorough investigation which revealed that the report received by law enforcement was much less than the "whole story." Upon receipt of "the rest of the story" from Attorney Weyrens, the criminal mischief charge was dismissed and the assault charge was filed by the District Attorney.
